Zoom licenses through Rockefeller University’s Information Technology are available to Rockefeller users with an active and valid RUNet account. To activate your Zoom license, login using your RUNet username and passphrase credentials at http://rocku.zoom.us/signin. If you are using the Zoom computer or mobile application, select Single Sign-On (SSO) and enter rocku for the domain and enter your RUNet username and passphrase when prompted.
Attention: The General Zoom@RU Meeting license is only for those who need to host general meetings that do not require HIPAA compliancy such as PHI or Telemedicine meetings. If you need to host HIPAA compliant Zoom meetings, please sign in at https://rockusecure.zoom.us to create your HIPAAZoom@RU account. Users cannot have access to both Zoom accounts. Users who have logged in to the General Zoom@RU account (https://rocku.zoom.us) and attempt to log in and use the HIPAAZoom@RU account (http://rockusecure.zoom.us/) may loose all scheduled Zoom meetings and cloud recordings.
HIPAAZoom@RU compliant account has restrictions such as but not limited to: no screen sharing, no recordings, no file transfers, no polling, waiting room, no live streaming, meetings will have an audible alert for all participants as they enter and no auto-saving chats.
Note: Zoom licenses are only required to host a meeting.
